Said Addi, who most recently served as Global Head of Fuel Oil at E3 Energy Group, has over 18 years of experience in global commodities trading. He has specialised in the oil, gas and energy sectors – skills which he brings to every role he takes on. Based in Dubai, Said Addi led E3’s global fuel operations, and drove strategic initiatives across a variety of international markets.

This role was fundamental to Said developing his leadership skills. As a Senior Fuel Oil and Feedstock Trader, he managed high-value trades and would impart his learnings onto more junior colleagues, taking an active part in their development.

Whilst a member of Gunvor Group, Said Addi developed strategies to combat market fluctuations and managed high value trades. Whilst in this position he developed his knowledge of geopolitical risks and supply distributions.

Having now developed a vast amount of skills in the industry, Said Addi was ready to make the step up into this role. He oversaw global fuel oil strategies, leveraging deep industry knowledge to identify new opportunities. This industry experience also allowed him to be a trusted advisor to the board of directors and CEO, where he provided insight into global market trends and fuel oil strategies, whilst also developing strategic partnerships.
